Is Obamacare headed for destruction? Are we headed for a One Payer Health Care System?
Aetna Health insurance is pulling back from 15 States
down to 4. Aetna lost $200 million in the last quarter and it is projected to
lose $300 million in the next quarter.
They have to pull out because they are a
publicly traded company and have a responsibility to the shareholders to make a
profit. All of the things people like, especially pre-existing conditions are
covered, but they are not financially feasible.
Twelve nonprofit health insurance competitive companies have collapsed.
Rate increases of 25% have already happened and 41% are predicted.
Young people are not using
Obamacare, because they are healthy, so they are pulling out and paying the
penalty. They can’t afford the premiums, and they have to pay a deductible of thousands
of dollars before getting healthcare assistance from Obamacare.
Are we heading for a One Payer Health Care System like the VA, Veterans Administration? Rich people will pay out of their pocket, but
the rest will get what the government
provides. If you remember in the beginning the administration was talking about
a One Payer Health Care Plan.
When one stops to think about it, the government
wanted a One Payer Health Care System so they designed something that would
ultimately fail. When all the insurance companies are losing money and decide to pull out, we will be left with one
source of healthcare – The Government.
We have had a One Payer System in the Veterans Administration for decades. How has that worked out for
the veterans? How many veterans have died before being able to see a doctor?
That’s been on TV for months if not years.
